Front Entrance Driveway

American Legion Post 444 is located at 17090 Old Jamestown Road, St Louis County, Missouri.  The Post home is nestled on the bank of the Missouri River northwest of the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers.  It is just a few miles down stream of the location where Lewis and Clark began their historic journey to explore the Northwest Territory.

Meeting hall, Pavillion & Barn

Post 444 was chartered in 1946 by 77 veterans returning home from World War II.  The Post's home is located on nine and a half acres.  It has two major buildings and several smaller buildings.  The Post Hall is used for post meetings, social functions, fish fries, bingo, and rental space for weddings and other private parties.  This building contains a primary 2500 square foot meeting room or hall.  In addition the facility has a kitchen, bar, restrooms, and a store room.

Clubhouse

The Club House is located to the rear of the property and has a spectacular view of the muddy Missouri River that can be enjoyed from our patio or overlook.  The Club House serves a social gathering point for members and their families.  It has a large recreation room, a bar and lounge, billiard/pool room, and kitchen.  Members spend many mornings, afternoons, and evenings in the Club House playing cards, pool, shuffleboard, or just having a good conversation and the companionship of fellow members.  Come out and join us!
