Membership in the American Legion is based on
honorable service with the U. S. Armed Forces between:
(April 6, 1917 -November 11, 1918) World War I
If you have served federal active duty in the United States Armed Forces
since December 7, 1941, and have been honorably discharged or are still serving - you are eligible for membership in The American Legion!
*Because eligibility dates remain open, all active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces are eligible to join The American Legion at this time, until the date of the end of hostilities as determined by the government of the United States.
**U.S. Merchant Marine eligible only from December 7, 1941 to December 31, 1946 (WWII).
To Join Us See Our Adjutant or 1st Vice Commander
The easiest way to join our post is to come to a meeting. They are held on the first and third Monday night of each month at 7:30pm. Come a few minutes early, and ask to speak with our 1st vice commander. He or she will answer any questions and be happy to provide you with a membership form.
